Best of…

Welcome to my best of! I am hoping to really devote some time here to showcase some of my favorite reads.

Coming first will be my Best of 2019. This was a challenge because I read 1007 books last year and there was no way I could even begin to break it down, SO, I took the books that were published in 2019 only to help narrow down the field. Ultimately, I ended up with a longer list than I would have liked, so I narrowed it down even more. I will have a top 50 list with 64 honorable mentions. The top 50 will be in no particular order, just the top reads for me last year. It was REALLY hard for me to even begin to break down the list because I had SO many amazing reads last year. I found a lot of GREAT new authors and I just dove head first into their work and am so glad I found them! Last year was a trying time for me as my husband was gone for the first 7 months of the year and a LOT of these books helped me escape from that reality. So stay tuned for this list coming soon! With all that being said, I will not have reviewed all of the books I am featuring as I didn’t really get into the full review spectrum until later in the year. Going forward from this list, all books featured will have been reviewed by me before being placed on my Best of list.

Once I get that published, I will start a Best of the Month post where every month, I will feature 5-10 books that I read in that month that were the top of the pile for me. I am really excited to undertake this as I believe it will help me immensely when its time to pull together my best of 2020 list at the end of the year.

I am so excited to see where this book blogging adventure takes me so I really hope you stay tuned and keep your eyes peeled for everything that is coming from this little confessional.
